I guess mine is from carpal tunnel which a doctor told me to have surgery for. I have to figure out when to do that so I will try ibuprofen to minimize itching. I hate this!

Palms just get itchy, and looks a bit swollen, I just rub Vaseline to sooth the irritation.

I had a total knee replacement about 16months ago but the itching started about 4 months after surgery. My fingers are really itchy but the hot water seems to make it worse. Any ideas?

I've used triamcinolone cream for itchy palms, got a prescription from my doctor, works like a charm.

I have also been getting itchy hands and feet late at night, with no visible symptoms. I have a mild allergy to sulphites, so avoid drinking wine and cider, but I also found out recently that they are also in sausages and other processed meats. The itching was pretty bad last night, and I had had sausages for dinner, so I will cut out sulphites altogether and see if that works. I also often use peanut oil in cooking, so if the first doesn't work, I may try cutting that out too.

4 days ago, my hands/palms/fingers started to itch the minute I wake up. No visible rash. Today it started with my hands and after i itched it for about 10 Minutes, my feet stared to itch, then my knees! It does eventual go away after about an hour but starts all over again the next morning. I haven't started any new meds or food or soap. Can't figure this out. It drives me crazy!,

Mine was worse before I had gall bladder surgery. That took care of mine. But now I still have to take an antihistamine due to some allergies and it helps a lot.

I woke up 5:30 am and both palm of hands mega itched. Yes, more the scratching the more the itch. After taking antihistamine, washing hands, within 20 mins am better. This was not a food allergy related thing.....been eating the same stuff today as in past days. I just hope this doesn't come back again. Sheeeeesh !
