I hope all you wonderful people here stop to recognize that you are unique and amazing, no matter who you are, or what you've done. Shame exists because we believe that the past is still alive. It's not. Life is in the present. Things have been different before and will be different in the future. Don't lose hope! You're not alone. There may be people that try to control you, or hurt you, or change you, but they are base and unconscious and should be pitied for it. Hating them is hurting yourself. Recycle your pain into art. Let it give you empathy. Divorce yourself from the past. Forgive. Forgive yourself. Love yourself. You can do this. Love, M
