This article is insensitive. The past where it says "get yourself someone you love and adore". What sense does that make? You write it as though there is a shop that you go and buy a partner. You make it sound easy when this is the most difficult thing in life and the thing you have the least control over, especially if you're a woman. And then you go on to say that it is too bad if you don't have a partner because it's oh so great. Very insensitively written. This would make someone feel worse especially if that's the reason they're depressed. Maybe they've waited their whole life to meet someone or be asked out on a date and no one has been seriously interested and you go and tell them to find someone like it is buying an item of clothing and that it's too bad if you're not blessed in that way. Everyone knows giving and receiving love is the best feeling in the world, 99% of songs are about love, you didn't need to rub salt in the wound.

the person that wrote this doesn't know much about anything. i feel like i 14 yr wrote this for a school assignment. I agree with A89. You can't go to a shop and just buy things. a big reason people are bored and depressed is lack of money to do stuff in general. finding a partner isn't something you can order on amazon.

What do you mean go shopping and buy things that you wouldn't normally buy? I think most people would LOVE to be able to do that but don't have the money! Part of the reason why people are depressed in todays society is because they don't earn enough money. Not earning enough money can make you feel as though you don't count, are not successful enough and what could a person who has no money possibly offer to a potential mate? Everything is based on how much money you earn these days. It really boggles my mind how people live in this world of money without any and are supposed to stay happy and joyful with a spring in their step and just itching to get out of bed to go to their minimum wage job for 8 to 12 hours of the day JUST so they can pay their wealthy landlord who is in the Caribbean on holiday, buy food and pay utility bills and have nothing left over until next month when they can repeat the entire process! Or, even if you do earn a decent amount of money in a small business, the tax man takes a good chunk of it so you are again working for nothing. What a great system we live in, it's just so fair isn't it? You would need at least $500,000 to 1 million dollars to get ahead in this life. Ridiculous!

This article is insanely bad. Please if you are bored, don't pay any attention to it. Buying stuff isn't the answer to boredom. I stopped reading after the find a partner comment... Went to amazon instead to order mine! You know cause that's how it is. Such a silly article, I think the owner of the site should remove it and be a bit more sensitive in future. If you are bored, its tough, life is difficult and sometimes the answer is not as easy as a google search. I would say, try to be courageous. Listen to yourself. Practice listening to yourself (no one does it enough!) only you know your path. Be brave and DO NOT pay any attention to the crap in this article. You don't need a partner, you don't need more stuff, you don't need to force yourself to do anything. You just need to get back into your beat :) Wish you all the best fellow bored human xxxx
