As you can see from this article, the reason for feeling sick after eating has over 10 reasons, which include digestive disorder and pregnancy as well. The first thing you have to do is to take the medication as instructed by doctor. If it still doesn't help, go back to your doctor or seek for a second opinion with another doctor.

I'm a teen, and after dinner I get the feeling if being sick. And I have only vomited once. I usually feel sick and about to vomit so I can't eat and I can't really do anything. Is this anything?

I am 21 female. Over the past couple of months I have had this happen about 6 or maybe 7 times - just at random but it's mainly about an hour or so after I've eaten at dinner. Basically I don't feel sick for long, I feel a bit of nausea but then it very soon just turns to vomiting. There's nothing I can do to stop it, it HAS to come out. Last time I tried to just lay still and block out the nausea - and ended up throwing up in bed!! The first time it happened I thought maybe food poisoning, the next couple times I thought some sort of food allergy or alcohol allergy but quickly ruled that out as each time the vomiting has happened it has been with all sorts of different kinds of food and sometimes with or without alcohol, so there's no common ingredient. So now I'm wondering what could be the cause?? It doesn't happen every time I eat, just randomly sometimes after I've had meal - normally dinner and it's about an hour or so after when I'm back home in bed (so maybe due to me having a big meal and then laying down??) I don't seem to have any pain associated with the nausea and vomiting but after I've thrown up, what seems like my entire meal, I feel fine again. Can't seem to figure out what the cause is though. Please help! P.s I can rule out pregnancy, as I've had my period twice since this has started happening!

Hi! I am a 19 years old male. It has been happening now for a long time that I've lost my appetite for food. I dont really feel hungry and whenever I eat something I eat it in a small amount and most of the time i leave the food. What has happened over time I dont understand. It was yesterday that i had not eaten anything the whole day, just drank water and when finally in the evening i ate some street food, I started feeling very uneasy. I had a very bad stomach ache and after suffering that ache after about half n hour I vomited out whatever i had eaten. I dont know why that happened but it did not feel goo at all and I dont like going to doctors. Please if anyone can guide me through this.

My daughter is 20 and has been vomiting after meals for 6 plus months. After trying medication and not finding relief our doctor requested additional test. We found that she had an ulcer and stress from college and new job was causing the problem. Ulcers are very common and can be easily treated.
