I had hemorrhoids surgery five weeks ago and they removed three lumps in total. I do still constipate still now, and have blood everytime, when I go to the toilet.

My hemorrhoid bothered me a year ago. Until now I suffered a lot of pain and it makes me feel uncomfortable. It seems like its getting worse. I consulted my doctor and he advise me to undergo surgery. Do the surgery can help me to relieve hemorrhoid?

i had an anal fissure and 3 internal thombrosed hemorrhoids removed by laser surgery. Before surgery I dealt with this unbearable lifestyle for 1 year after 2 bandings that were unsuccessful. My surgeon is board certified and has performed over 3000 hemorrhoid surgeries. The first day of surgery I was in excruciating pain and bled a lot. I took vitamin k and it stopped the bleeding by the end of the day. By the second day the pain was still unbearable but on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 9. I was taking stool softners 3 times a day, mineral oil with juice before bed and taking 3-4 baths with Epsom salt on the second day. Baths were not recommended until the second day. I kept my diet light, eating vegetable soups, fresh fruits, yogurt and drinking a lot of water. Bowel movements were very painful. Afterwards I would soak in Epsom salt for 20 minutes which provided nearly instant relief.I would sit on ice packs every hour. I was presribed Vicodin for pain and Valium to relax the muscles and sleep. It has been 6 days and I have healed tremendously. Bowel movents are a lot less painful. The stool softner and mineral oil allows it to slide out with no straining or pushing. I am still in pain but it is a very tolerable level about a 3 or 4. I also included vitamin c and rutin to assist with healing. Turmeric to help with inflammation, b vitamins to help with emotional distress and vitamin e to promote healing. In my baths I would also Include a few drops of tea tree oil and coconut oil along with the Epsom salt. Epsom salt relaxes the muscles and draws out toxins, tea tree oil is an antiseptic and coconut oil is soothing. Before and After each bowel movement I also applied Neosporin. I also used baby wipes, no dry toilet paper at all. Lots of rest is the key and taking care of the area is important. I also believe the vitamins promoted healing. It's not easy to go through, it's the worse pain I have ever endured in my life but I believe once I am completely healed that I will enjoy my life again. I would be happy to answer any questions anyone has or give advice. I have been through it all with hemorrhoids, internal and external.

Hi Erika, I wanted to ask you what kind of medication did your friend recommended you to take?

I had hemorroidoctopy surgery to remove internal and external hemorroids 10 day ago. Although the pain and bleeding are subsiding, the wound still looks pretty large and open with several little small swollen tissue that look like small grapes. I'd like to know if anyone has had this after surgery and if it is something to be concerned about. I'm worried that it might not close/heal properly. Also, it is still painful to pass gass as well as having vowel movements. I would appreciate anyone's comments and advise.

Had internal hemorrhoids removed and a mass removed from the exterior of my rectum one week ago today.. This is absolutely the most painful thing I have ever endured. I'm still draining and have a lot of stitches. I've been using the pain killers stool softener and warm soaks but I'm still very uncomfortable. Good luck if you have chosen this path.
