@ Pam Hicks, if the neighbor's cats made your children and dog sick, you can actually send her the bills for those expenses, because once she began feeding and caring for feral cats, it became her responsibility as well, kind of like a common law marriage. My back fence neighbor 2 home down is not allowed to have cats in her mangy ratty trailer, so she feeds them all but they roam all over the neighborhood, and one in particular keeps trying to get in my house and sprays all over my front porch and my cars. It is disgusting. We have zero animal control in Oklahoma. For the one named Jen who wants all of us to play nice and trap/neuter/spay all these cats, no way. Most of us are not rich and believe it or not MANY states, especially poor, rural areas, DO NOT have any kind of animal control, and it is broken down by county. A county neighboring mine has a humane society, but will not accept cats from outside of county lines. Vets want money from me to bring in stray or unwanted animals. No rescues really, either. You have nice suggestions and all, but you really have no clue about many of the states that want no part of animal control. Honestly, in the country, strays get shot when they become troublemakers. I wish the lazy owners could too sometimes.

Airsoft guns work great. Theyre non lethal, and theyll give the cat a good sting on the ass to not come back. You can find full auto ones with plastic BBs at places like walmart for cheap. Plus, its fun as hell.

Just because someone wants feral cats off their property doesn't mean they are "cat haters with bad dispositions" I have four rescue cats, have had cats my entire life and rescued many and adopted them out to good homes. HOWEVER, my neighbor has been feeding the strays for a year and at last count there were 30 of them.... 30! They poop in the mulch around my house, use my garden beds as a cat box, they spray my porch, garage and cars. One of my cats was asleep in the window and was attacked through the screen by one of the feral. One of my male cats, who's neutered, has become aggressive because of the constant spraying. Why should I have to pay $20 per cat for the shelter to trap, spay/neuter and release them when we're not the ones feeding them? More needs to be done to the ones who do! They need to be fined and made to pay to have them spayed and released. Why should We have to keep our windows closed because of the stench because of a renter next to us? Ironically, she told me that she'll never have house cats again because of the smell..... Go figure!!!

Maybe if you had to license a cat like a dog it would bring the population under control. Nothing like smelling cat piss when going to my porch. Live trap and relocate to a farm.

You say "Do not harm cats because it's cruel". What is "cruel" is coming to my vacation home and not being able to stay in the home because of the outrageous stink of cat piss coming from the house heating vents, from cats living in the crawl space underneath. This is absolutely unsustainable, and I can't even sleep because of the srong scent. I feel that my life has been significantly altered because of these Uninvited cats. "Do not harm them"? Are you crazy, considering how much they've devalued my property and vacation time. . I can't get them out from under my home now and this is been going on for over a year. Where do you live? How about we just transfer them from my crawlspace to yours. Then you can have a ball with them, stink and all, you bleeding heart liberal.

Don't hate cats but very allergic..just want them out of my yard so I can breathe and sit out on my deck with no cat shit or urine smell.
