Thank god I found this article! I just came back from the beach with a friend and her family has darker skin than mine so they tan while I burn. When I came back I was welcomed by a huge sunburn up my back and on my left arm. I tryed using aloe Vera and my skin is already looking a lot better! This really helped, thank you so much! :D

Why do I have to wait at least a day or two in order to put the cocoanut oil because as soon. As I got my sun burn I put it right away, what can happen if you put it right away

I have a pretty fair skin so I get sunburnt a lot easier than most people…I’ve tried almost everything and the thing I found that worked best in relieving pain and reducing redness was Vaseline’s blue seal aloe fresh light hydrating jelly…I lathered a bit of it on my skin and could see results in just an hour…just wanted to share this because I know how embarrassing sunburn can be…I wish all of you guys the best of luck and hope it works for you
