I'm 13 years old and I still haven't gotten my period! All of my friends have already gotten their period. Should I be worried?

@ Rowan : Don't worry, dear. Some get their period early but other may get their period at late 13 or late 14.

FYI Young ladies you can still be pregnant even if the test comes back negative!! It only takes a split second to get pregnant!! Heres a list of ways you can still get pregnant: 1. sex for the 1st time 2. If he pulls out 3. If he was only inside you for 1 second 4. If he had a condom on and took it off and then put it in you 5. Condom breaks 6. Even if you didnt enjoy it or cum 7. Even if it only took him 2 seconds 8. Stand sitting any way any postion 9. Even if you weren't in a bed any place the location doesnt matter!! I could go on and on but I hope you get it!! On to being pregnant missing periods is just a tiny indicator that your body is telling you that you might be pregnant still not a 100% accurate Those PG test are not 100% accurate!! If you have had sex and you missed your period and the test comes back negative and then still havent got it in a few weeks to a month then go to the doctor to find out for sure !! Don't relay on the guy to pull out or to where a condom if you are choosing to be sexual active be responsible enough to protect yourselves and get protection for yourself and him also cant ever be to safe if you dont want a child !! The only way to make sure 100% not to get pregnant is to NOT HAVE SEX!! NO SEX!! Remember ladies if you get pregnant it no longer matters how you would like to see things go or happen!! Its all about that baby!! If you thought you have problems now with your period not coming or your cramps hurt sorry but rude awakening that is so so tiny compared to not only the next 9 months but at least the next 18 yrs of your life!! Hang out with friends trying to find out what you want to wear going to the movies etc.. Or over its no longer you running up to your mommy saying mom can i have $20.00 to go to the movies its your baby screaming because he or she is hungry and or wet and you have to feed and change this baby 18 yrs

I'm 13 and I had my first period around April 10th but the whole of May I didn't get one and the start of June I haven't had one plz help I don't know what to do!! And also I am 13 and I weigh 8 stone is this normal bec I am worried I am very overweight and I have tryed excercise but I can't full comity to it and health eating!! Someone plz reply Thx xx

@ Niamh : The first and second period always have a long time space. for someone that is one or two months, but for some others that may be half a year. So don't worry!

I'm 21 and have been on birth control since I was 15. I have always had crazy periods. Every since being on birth control my perioda always came late. Is that normal or should I be worried that I'm pregnant.

@ Courtney : Birth control pill interfere with your hormone so your period will be affected. Late periods and excessive period usually don't causes anything problem. But it's better to visit your doctor and have it check if the condition lasts for a long time.

@ Baljeet : Is the period on April your first period? There are always a long time space between first and second periods. Besides, if this is the first time you have this situation, then it shouldn't be a cause for concern. You can try all methods in this article to make your period come faster. If it still concerns you, contact your doctor.

@ Emile : When girls first have period, they could be irregular for sometime. Just be patient and wait for a little bit longer. Besides, you should go see your doctor to make sure that everything is ok.

@ Tori : When you first start your period it isn't uncommon to have your first period and then not have one for several months or you may have another one in just a few weeks. Some girls will go as long as a year before their period arrives again. So don't worry and just give it some more time.

@ serena : Don't be afraid and bear in mind that you are perfectly normal. Some girls start their first period at 8 or 9 years old, while others don't start it until they're 15 or 16. The average age is 12 or 13. So be patient because period on the way.
