I started birth control solely to stop my period. I was on depo and it completely stopped them. Once I stopped the depo, I started having them again. Due to an illness, it's not safe for me to have it so I have to take progesterone pills (prescribed by my OB) and I don't have them at all now. There are methods to prevent it. When I first started on the progesterone, I was still having it so I doubled my dosage and it ended it quickly. I don't recommend doing or trying anything without consulting a doctor before hand but there are ways.

@ McKenna Advil is ibprofen look at active ingredient. .....ibprofen is generic of advice and motrin....Please be informed before saying stuff

If you're young try taking Advil and an ibuprofen but in different hours and see if that does help a bit
