For anybody who is saying that you can anything in moderation, soy is bad for everyone, there is no scientific proof, etc.. YOU ALL should do YOUR research. Dr. D'Amato has written 'Eat Right 4 Your Type with an excessive amount of research and study behind it. It may seem difficult to understand and even grasp his reasoning at first, but ultimately he is correct in all aspects of this topic. I am a true believer that not everybody can eat whatever they want. Each person's body is different and can't handle certain food. Before I read Dr. D'Amato's book, I was exercising 5-6 days a week and ate a lot of breads, pastas, dairy, etc. I would consume anything with whey protein or wheat in it, thinking it was good for my body. My skin was also an issue- it was always red, blotchy, and broken outin acne. Since I started eating 'right for my type' (o) as well as continue to exercise, I feel 100x better physically, mentally, and emotionally. I no longer get bloated after eating, I don't drag throughout the day, my energy level has gone up tremendously, and my skin looks better than it has in years, which leads me to believe that my body is finally digesting GOOD food the way it needs to. Once in a while I'll slip up- eating a gluten free cookie that has dairy in it (sometimes you just need to treat yourself after a week of heavy lifting) or buy lactose free cheese thinking it won't affect my body (it is still made from milk. Removing the lactose doesn't make it better for us.), but I feel the difference each time I do it. My body just feels heavy and tired. So, take some advice if you want, do your reaserch before assuming a topic like this is BS, and try it for yourself. It doesn't hurt to do so.

I had no idea that I was eating the wrong foods. I love vegetables and fruit. I was eating mustard greens, cantaloupe, strawberries, blackberries, watermelons, honeydew, coconut, mushrooms, oranges, wheat bread, brussel sprouts, cabbage, and kidney beans in my chili, olives, etc! WOW!! I'm so overwhelmed right now. I thought I was doing great!! Thank you Aunt Hattie, for your revealance! I would have never known if you did not direct me to this website!! Thank you for so much for providing this information to me and for opening my eyes to another transition that I need to make in my life!! GOD bless you!!!

But I love cashews, peanuts, bacon (don't eat it much though), brussels sprouts, pork, coconut, smoked salmon (but can't afford to buy it), 100% whole wheat everything, honeydew and cantaloupe! I make chili with kidney beans all the time and don't want to start putting black eye peas into it instead! I am O+, but I don't suffer from ANY maladies, don't have thyroid problems (my B+ wife does though), don't have digestive issues and feel great pretty much all the time, without taking any medications, not even aspirin, as I never get headaches. Why should I stop eating things I like (especially the ones that are supposed to be the healthy alternative) if I am experiencing no problems, just because of my blood type?

I've had stomach problems my whole life.. I'm O+. It's only been 3 days with no eating dairy and no wheat and I can feel a big difference. I don't look at it like a diet. It's a choice that I made. Eat what I'm supposed to. Or feel like crap!

Hi I'm o+ and I was wondering if you have heard about the "Banting diet/lifestyle". It's booming in SA at the moment but what fascinates me is that O positive type must not eat pork or dairy.. Where the Banting diet(LCHF)= low carb, medium protein and high fat encourages you to do so... I'm very confused as to whose right here... Can someone please help me clear things up here so I can head in the right direction to a healthy lifestyle
