Minor swollen uvula may heal on its own. However, if you're unable to talk, swallow or breathe, seek medical help at once as swollen uvula can cause a very distressing experience.

Woke up on Saturday morning with my first swollen Uvula in a while. Had it a couple of times before after a few heavy nights on the drink and it was ma boy Leigh's bday on Friday, so as you can imagine, I was pure hammered. First time I got this was after drinking about 15 VK's at Cav in 2009 - went to the doctor about that one and got diagnosed with a hangover (the snide). Had it a few times since and don't have any sort of tips for getting rid of it other than waiting so best of luck.
