Before You Apply Your Nail Polish

Drying with Icy Water
By now, you probably know that nail polish requires cool temperatures to dry faster. Freeze drying your nails is also an effective methods to use. Simply fill a bowl with cold water and a few ice cubes then dip your nails for a few minutes.
Drying with Cool Air in the Freezer
This works in the same concept as the use of icy water. All you need is a fridge with a freezer. Let your hands stay in the cool air section of your fridge for a few minutes. If you can stand the cold, it is also a good idea to place the hands in the freezer for a few minutes.
Drying with Air Dusters
Air dusters are mostly used to clean computers, keyboards and monitors. However, these canisters are also very handy when it comes to drying nails. The reason these dusters can be used to dry your nails it because they contain heat absorbing ingredients and also release a cool spray. This is a perfect combination for drying nails. Simply use the air duster to blow your nails for a few minutes. Hold the spout a distance from your nails as the pressure can cause the polish to run.
Drying with Cooking Spray
Apart from using the cooking spray in the kitchen, you can also use it to air dry your nails. Simply hold the cooking spray a few inches from your nails and spray the oil onto your nails to make them dry faster. This oil makes it possible for the top layer of the coating to dry up and also lubricates the nails and prevents smudges. It is also a fantastic way of lubricating your cuticles. Do this over a sink or washable surface as the spray can be a bit messy.
