Treatments of Pimple Under Skin
Apply Warm Compress
By application of warm compress, the flow of blood towards the pimple under skin or infected area is increased. This promotes the accumulation of infected fluid or abscess at a single point, so a pointed head will appear and all the fluid can leak out.
How to Use:
Take a soft cloth and dip into warm water.
Apply the cloth over the infected area (pimple spot).
Repeat this procedure 2 to 3 times.
Instead of cloth for warm compress, a tea bag can also be used.
Use Tea Tree Oil
If the pimple under skin is caused by any kind of bacterial infection, then tea tree oil is the best option to alleviate the symptoms. It possesses highly effective anti-bacterial properties. Tea tree oil help open the blocked pores of the skin and provides soothing action.
How to Use:
Take approximately 9 ml of water and mix it with 1 ml of tea tree oil.
After mixing, dip a cotton ball or pad in this and place it over the pimple spot and leave it for 10 minutes.
Remove this by rinsing with lukewarm water and apply some moisturizer after drying the face.
Perform this procedure 3 to 4 times a day.
If your skin is sensitive, then you can also use aloe vera instead of tea tree oil.
Use Aloe Vera
Like tea tee oil, aloe vera also possesses anti-bacterial property. It can reduce the inflammation around the pimple under skin and has cooling effect to the affected area.
How to Use:
Take an aloe vera plant, apply a cut and remove the gel from it.
Apply the gel over the affected or inflamed area.
Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
Rinse it with a large amount of water.
Perform this twice daily for better results.
Use Apple Cider Vinegar
There are so many benefits of using apple cider vinegar. It has anti-bacterial and anti-septic properties to our skin. It also helps in maintaining the blood flow towards the affected area.
How to Use:
Take a cotton ball or pad and dip in apple cider vinegar, then apply it over the pimple.
Don’t leave the cotton ball for too long as it may cause burning sensation (due to presence of acid). This application will form a pimple head.
You can also take it as an oral remedy before your meals by mixing it with lukewarm water.
Use Epsom Salt
For reducing the inflammation and swelling around the blind pimples, Epsom salt can also be used.
How to Use:
Dissolve about 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt in water. For better dissolution, hot water is recommended.
Allow the solution to cool down first.
Apply it over the blind pimple with the help of a cotton ball.
Wait until the water evaporates from the skin and form a dry patch.
Rinse with water, and repeat till the pimple head forms.
Use Lemon Juice
Lemon juice has excellent antioxidant and age-defying properties. It also acts as a cleanser and produces its action by constricting the area thus producing astringent effect.
How to Use:
Take out the lemon juice from 2 to 3 lemons (depends on size), apply it over the pimple with the help of gauze pad, and then leave for 15 minutes.
It can also be mixed with rose water for more effective results.
Use Baking Soda
Baking soda is very effective anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. It also eliminates the source of infection.
How to Use:
Prepare the paste by mixing baking soda and water.
Apply it over the pimple under skin and leave for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with water.
Use Deep Cleansing Mask
Deep cleansing mask is required for better cleaning of blocked pores and removing dust from them.
How to Use:
Apply a mask which contains citric acid.
Mud mask are also fairly effective for skin cleansing due to astringent and dust removal properties.
Prevention of Pimple Under the Skin
Keep Your Face Clean
Cleaning your face can prevent the accumulation of different toxins and bacteria on the skin which will lead to the formation of pimple under skin. A good quality cleanser can be selected for cleaning. Wash your face every 4 to 6 hours can also help.
Eat a Well-Balanced Diet
Decreasing the intake of junk food and increasing the intake of fresh fruits and vegetables can help in minimizing the production of free radicals in body. A well-balanced diet can decrease the risk of the formation of under skin pimple.
Use Moisturizer
For people with normal and dry skin, it is better to use a moisturizer on daily basis. It can prevent the dryness of skin and secretion of oil from the sweat glands.
Avoid Excessive Makeup

Apply Sun-Screen Lotion
